Lafarge Dalsan is a joint venture established by Lafarge, a leading manufacturer of building materials in the world, and Dalsan Alcι, one of the top manufacturers in the Turkish plaster industry.
Production of plaster started when gypsum was roasted in bakery ovens in Kayseri in 1932 and then crushed in a mortar in order to obtain plaster for dental uses. They were eventually transformed into modern and large facilities.
Dalsan Alci, which joined forces with Lafarge, a world leader, in a joint venture in 1998, aims to become the leader of the Turkish plaster industry under the trade name „Lafarge Dalsan.“
Lafarge Dalsan produces 440 thousand tons of powder plaster annually at its modern and state-of-the art plants in Ankara in addition to 14,5 million square meters of plaster board with different sizes and qualities.
